We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable
Fire Protection Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fire protection systems within consultancy environments, including supervision and inspection roles. The candidate will support project teams by ensuring compliance with fire protection standards, codes, and best practices across diverse project types.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and approve fire protection system designs and shop drawings in accordance with NFPA standards.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure installation quality and compliance with approved designs.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to project teams regarding fire safety systems and requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to address fire protection issues.
- Prepare inspection reports, compliance evaluations, and technical documentation.
- Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements (NFPA, Civil Defense, etc.).
- Support commissioning activities and review testing and maintenance procedures for fire protection systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Fire Protection.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fire & Safety Engineering.
- Professional certification such as CFPS or NFPA qualifications (NFPA 13, 20, 25 or equivalent).
- Strong background working with consultant firms in supervision and inspection roles.
- Solid understanding of fire protection codes, design standards, and compliance procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
