Job Description

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in fire alarm and firefighting systems.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale commercial, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in Saudi Arabia and knowledge of Civil Defense requirements is highly preferred.

Technical Knowledge

  • Fire Alarm Systems
  • Sprinkler, Hydrant, Standpipe, Deluge & Foam Systems
  • FM-200, Novec 1230, CO₂, Inergen and Clean Agent Systems
  • NFPA Codes and Standards
  • Project Planning Tools (Primavera P6 and/or MS Project)
  • AutoCAD and Revit MEP
  • Cost Control and Contract Administration

Preferred Certifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • NFPA CFPS or equivalent Fire Protection Certification
  • Saudi Council of Engineers Registration
  • OSHA / NEBOSH Safety Certification

Project Management

  • Lead fire protection projects from award through commissioning and handover.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Manage project risks, variations, claims, and mitigation plans.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and clients.

Engineering & Technical Oversight

  • Review and approve fire system designs, technical submittals, shop drawings, and material selections.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA, SBC, IFC, HCIS, Civil Defense, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate engineering activities with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Support technical problem resolution during project execution.

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Manage project contracts, subcontractors, and supplier agreements.
  • Review scope changes and negotiate variation orders.
  • Monitor project profitability, cash flow, invoicing, and payment collections.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled and commercial risks are controlled.

Site Execution & Coordination

  • Lead coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
  • Monitor installation progress, quality, and safety performance.
  • Conduct project review meetings and resolve execution challenges.
  • Ensure timely material procurement and delivery to site.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and authorities.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Lead project progress meetings and manage client expectations.
  • Coordinate Civil Defense inspections and approvals.

Commissioning & Handover

  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and integrated system acceptance.
  • Ensure completion of punch list items and project close-out activities.

Manage handover documentation, training, and warranty support
