Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the first-mile hub operations, ensuring parcels are received, sorted, and dispatched accurately and on time
- Lead, coach, and support a team of hub agents, loaders, and drivers to achieve daily operational targets
- Monitor KPIs such as parcel intake accuracy, hub productivity, dispatch timelines, and SLA adherence
- Ensure proper scanning, labeling, and documentation of parcels to maintain visibility and traceability
- Coordinate with line-haul and last-mile teams to guarantee smooth parcel handover and transfer
- Implement and maintain health, safety, and compliance standards within the hub
- Optimize resources (staff, equipment, space) to meet volume demands efficiently
- Handle operational issues and escalations, ensuring quick resolution and minimal service disruption
- Conduct daily shift briefings, monitor staff performance, and provide training where needed
- Generate operational reports and highlight improvement areas to management
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3–4 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or hub operations, with at least 2 year in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate frontline staff
- Knowledge of first-mile/last-mile logistics processes and parcel handling standards
- Proficient in using logistics systems, scanners, and MS Office tools
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage high-volume operations
