Fit-Out Engineer Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced Fit-Out Engineer – Team Leader to lead and supervise fit-out activities, ensuring projects are executed according to approved designs, quality standards, specifications, and agreed timelines.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of fit-out works, excellent site management and coordination skills, and the ability to lead teams and subcontractors effectively.

• Lead and supervise fit-out activities from execution through completion and handover.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements to ensure proper execution.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, MEP teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Manage and monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Supervise and guide engineers, supervisors, technicians, and site teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed according to the approved schedule.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinate material requirements, deliveries, and availability with relevant teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements.
• Review and follow up on shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Monitor subcontractors performance and ensure work is delivered according to project requirements.
• Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate inspections, snagging, testing, and final handover activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and close-out of completed works.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in fit-out, interior finishing, or construction projects.
• Proven experience in supervising and leading fit-out teams and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of finishing and fit-out works, including architectural finishes and related construction activities.
• Good understanding of technical drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
• Strong project coordination and site management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel between project locations when required.
