About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fit-Out Project Engineer with strong experience in retail, commercial, and residential projects within the region, particularly in Dubai. The ideal candidate must be capable of reviewing, modifying, and interpreting technical drawings, coordinating site activities, and ensuring works are executed in line with guidelines, authority standards, and building management regulations.

What You'll Do

  • Review and approve contractor submissions, profiles, experience, and compliance documents.
  • Ensure complete familiarity with authority requirements including DEWA, DCD, DED, Dubai Municipality, DLD, Trakhees, and other relevant entities.
  • Support in obtaining all required NOCs, permits, inspections, and final approvals.
  • Manage technical submittals, drawings, RFIs, and clarifications through a structured approval workflow.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, authority standards, and project specifications.
  • Act as the main point of contact between clients, contractors, consultants, and landlords to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements, work permits, and site safety regulations.
  • Monitor project milestones, assess site readiness, and prepare reports highlighting progress, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Oversee project completion to ensure all works are executed as per guidelines and that all final documentation (As-Built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties) is submitted prior to handover.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Facilities Management.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in fit-out supervision, consultancy, or project management.
  • Strong understanding of MEP, architectural coordination, and authority approval requirements.
  • Experience dealing with landlords, consultants, tenants, and contractors in retail or commercial developments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong reporting, documentation, and technical writing skills.
  • Must hold a valid UAE driving license and a car.
