Role Description The Fit-out Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Qatar, responsible for overseeing interior fit-out projects for residential and commercial properties. This role includes supervising site activities, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring work is completed according to drawings, specifications, safety standards, and timelines. The Fit-out Supervisor conducts regular site inspections, resolves technical and operational issues, and communicates progress, risks, and requirements to project managers and clients. Day-to-day tasks include planning work schedules, managing workforce allocation, monitoring material usage and quality, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company procedures. The role also involves preparing basic reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement of fit-out processes and services.
Qualifications
- Experience in fit-out supervision, including coordination of interior works such as partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, and MEP interfaces.
- Practical knowledge of construction and fit-out standards, site safety practices, and local building regulations in Qatar or the GCC region.
- Strong project coordination and time management skills, with the ability to plan tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams on site.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents, and translate them into clear instructions for site teams.
- Proficiency in basic office and site reporting tools (e.g., MS Office) and familiarity with digital workflows or work-order systems.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Previous experience in facilities management, interior contracting, or maintenance services is an advantage.
- Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
