Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Fit-Out Director to lead and manage all fit-out, technical support, and site readiness activities for projects and branches. The role will oversee the technical office, design development, shop drawings, fit-out teams, warehouses, materials planning, and coordination with project management teams to ensure timely delivery, quality execution, efficient resource utilization, and alignment with the company's operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage fit-out activities for projects and branches in line with approved operational plans.
- Oversee the technical office, design activities, shop drawings, and execution drawings, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Manage fit-out teams, warehouse operations, and the efficient allocation of materials and resources.
- Coordinate closely with the Project Management Department to ensure site readiness and timely availability of technical and execution requirements.
- Monitor fit-out execution and ensure adherence to project timelines, technical specifications, quality standards, and approved scope of work.
- Oversee procurement, supply, and preparation activities related to project and branch fit-outs in coordination with relevant departments.
- Prepare the annual budget for the Fit-Out Department and submit it for senior management approval.
- Monitor budget execution, control expenses, and improve cost and resource efficiency.
- Track departmental operational performance and submit periodic reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure the availability of materials, equipment, and supplies required for fit-out works.
- Identify operational and technical challenges and implement appropriate solutions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and occupational standards, as well as approved company policies and procedures.
- Develop and improve departmental processes, workflows, and operating procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Oversee employee performance, team development, and capability-building within the department.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the direct manager in line with business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in fit-out, contracting, construction, or project management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong experience managing technical teams, operational projects, site readiness activities, and budgets.
- Strong knowledge of shop drawings, execution drawings, technical documentation, and fit-out works.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, manage resources, and deliver projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Strong budget planning, cost control, and reporting skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
