Job Title: Fixed Assets Accountant

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register for all company assets
- Record asset additions, disposals, transfers, and retirements in the ERP system
- Ensure proper capitalization of assets in line with company policy and IFRS
- Calculate and post depreciation on a monthly basis
- Reconcile fixed asset sub-ledger with the general ledger
- Perform periodic physical verification of fixed assets and investigate variances
- Review capital expenditure requests and ensure proper approvals
- Track assets under construction and capitalize them when ready for use
- Process asset disposals, including gain/loss calculations
- Support audit requirements by providing schedules and documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- Prepare fixed asset reports for management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in fixed assets or general accounting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and fixed asset accounting
- Experience working with (SAP)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Strong documentation and record-keeping
