Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fleet Operations Specialist situated in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid. The Fleet Operations Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day fleet operations, including scheduling and dispatching drivers, monitoring vehicle maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. This role involves maintaining accurate records, liaising with vendors, analyzing fleet performance data, and ensuring optimal utilization of vehicles for efficient service delivery. The specialist will also be responsible for addressing logistical challenges and improving operational procedures when necessary.

Qualifications

Full supervision of the tourism limousine fleet operations, including vehicle dispatching, trip allocation, and optimal fleet utilization.

Preparing and implementing daily and weekly operation schedules for vehicles and drivers in line with tour programs, bookings, and airport transfers.

Optimizing tour and transfer routes to ensure punctuality, minimize waiting time, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Monitoring and analyzing fleet and driver performance (on-time performance, fuel consumption, complaints, and service quality) and submitting periodic reports to management.

Ensuring full compliance with traffic safety regulations, Ministry of Tourism requirements, and tourism limousine operation standards.

Maintaining continuous coordination with drivers, reservation teams, tour guides, hotels, and partners to ensure smooth operations and resolve any operational issues.

Handling customer complaints and emergency situations professionally and making prompt decisions to maintain service continuity.

Supervising preventive and routine vehicle maintenance plans and coordinating with workshops to ensure fleet readiness.

Utilizing fleet management systems, GPS tracking, and operational software to monitor vehicle movement and improve efficiency.

Demonstrating strong attention to detail and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic tourism environment.

A Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.

Previous experience in tourism transportation, limousine operations, or fleet movement supervision is considered a strong advantage.
