Position Overview
you will lead the strategic development and execution of fleet vehicle sales to corporate clients, government institutions, leasing companies, rental fleets, and large-scale commercial operators. You will drive revenue growth by building long-term, high-value relationships, delivering tailored mobility solutions, and consistently exceeding annual sales targets. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines business development, key account management, contract negotiation, and team leadership within a fast-paced, competitive automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive fleet sales strategies to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets, volume objectives, and market share goals.
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new fleet accounts while expanding business within existing key clients through upselling, cross-selling, and renewal of large-volume contracts.
- Build and maintain strong C-level and procurement relationships with corporate, governmental, and institutional decision-makers.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, including needs analysis, vehicle configuration, pricing negotiations, tender responses, and contract closing.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Finance, After-Sales, and Service teams) to design customized fleet solutions encompassing vehicle specifications, financing packages, maintenance programs, and telematics integration.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends in fleet management, electrification, sustainability requirements, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards using CRM tools; present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Fleet Sales Executives (where applicable), ensuring high performance, professional development, and adherence to ethical sales practices.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, automotive industry regulations, data privacy laws, and health & safety standards.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and fleet-focused forums to enhance brand visibility and generate new opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in automotive sales, with at least 4 years specifically in fleet/B2B sales within the automotive or mobility sector.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding fleet sales targets in a competitive market.
- Deep knowledge of the automotive industry, including passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles, and emerging trends such as electric/hybrid fleets, connected vehicles, and sustainable mobility solutions.
