Fleet Supervisor
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Fleet Supervisor to join our Business Support Services Sector. The ideal candidate will oversee daily fleet operations, ensure safety and compliance, enhance efficiency, and support strategic business objectives.
About the Role
The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for managing the company's vehicle fleet, ensuring all vehicles are safe, well-maintained, compliant with UAE regulations, and operationally ready. The role also includes supervising fleet staff, optimizing costs, and supporting seamless logistics workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance
- Monitor legislation, regulations, and best practices to guide policy, procedures, and standards for fleet management and driver training.
- Develop and manage fleet auditing programs to ensure compliance with corporate transport procedures and documentation requirements.
- Reduce risk of breakdowns through proactive service management and qualified contractors.
- Coordinate with Logistics to ensure vehicles are prepared and deployed on schedule.
- Design and publish end-to-end fleet management policies aligned with UAE laws and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance in the handling, storage, and transportation of clinical waste and hazardous materials.
- Support ISO and JCI accreditation by driving quality programs and ensuring logistics compliance.
- Maintain all vehicle safety and fire prevention equipment as required by legislation.
- Approve repair team timesheets monthly.
Management
- Implement robust incident reporting and investigation procedures to drive improvements.
- Develop storage, allocation, purchase, and replacement strategies for fleet resources.
- Collaborate with Procurement on supplier negotiations and contract management.
- Provide expert advice to Operations Directors to maintain best-practice vehicle management standards.
Lead and Manage Staff
- Achieve departmental goals through effective selection, training, coaching, and performance management of the Logistics team.
- Promote staff adherence to company policies and operational excellence.
- Train staff on supply chain management principles and ensure daily application.
- Foster teamwork, set priorities, and implement productivity targets.
Performance & Reporting
- Develop and manage weekly and quarterly KPIs using a balanced scorecard approach.
- Contribute to strategic plans, quality improvement programs, and accreditation initiatives.
- Develop digital tools to track fleet operations, transport costs, and performance metrics.
- Monitor vehicle movement efficiency, cost control, and overall fleet productivity.
- Analyze fleet-related challenges and recommend effective solutions.
- Build supplier/contract performance reporting tools with Procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Transportation, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years fleet management or operations supervision experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working with ERP or fleet management systems.
- Knowledge of budgeting, procurement, and logistics planning.
- Familiarity with UAE traffic and transportation regulations.
- Ability to perform under shifting operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Package: AED 25,000 Negotiable
