We are looking for a technically skilled Fleet Support & IoT Engineer to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of IoT solutions and fleet support systems. The role will focus on optimizing fleet operations, improving safety, enhancing customer experience, and integrating technology across fleet and training operations.
Key Responsibilities
IoT Solution Development & Implementation
- Design, develop, and implement IoT solutions to optimize fleet operations and improve safety.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems supporting the learning environment.
- Develop and integrate custom software solutions, applications, and digital tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Support integration of IoT systems with existing IT and fleet infrastructure.
Fleet Support & System Maintenance
- Maintain and support fleet management systems to ensure optimal performance and minimum downtime.
- Manage and optimize fleet systems for real-time tracking, maintenance scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
- Support preventive maintenance programs for EV and CNG vehicle systems.
- Identify system issues and coordinate with technical teams and service providers for resolution.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze IoT and Fleet Management System (FMS) data to identify trends, operational issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards highlighting KPIs and performance indicators.
- Analyze fleet data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, IT, Customer Service, and other internal teams.
- Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate with suppliers, service providers, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Support training and operational initiatives with relevant stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging IoT, fleet technology, EV, CNG, telematics, and smart mobility solutions.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, IoT, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in IoT solutions, fleet management systems, telematics, or connected vehicle technologies.
- Knowledge of fleet tracking, vehicle monitoring, maintenance management, and FMS platforms.
- Experience with IoT hardware, sensors, connectivity, data platforms, and system integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of EV and CNG vehicle systems is an advantage.
- Experience with software/application integration and data analysis is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
