Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of furniture products.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff and fleet drivers to maintain smooth workflows and high productivity.
- Schedule and monitor vehicle maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and extend fleet lifespan.
- Implement and enforce health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse and fleet personnel.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to manage stock levels and plan timely deliveries.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction within fleet and warehouse operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fleet Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor, or similar role within the furniture industry.
- Strong knowledge of fleet management, vehicle maintenance, and warehouse operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
