Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the contractual, financial and technical aspects of hard facility management operations (MEP, HVAC and Civil). This role involves maintaining facility infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, compliance with regulations, and delivering cost-effective solutions.

Job Description:

1. Strategy

  • Actively participate in the commercial activity of the department from lead generation to bid estimations and budget elaboration.
  • Generate and defend results as per plans and financial targets through the effective allocation of resources and operational planning.
  • Manage project life cylce, including project scope, goals, execution and deliverables.
  • Contributes to the risk management of the department

2. Management of operations

  • Ensures the correct assignment of resources (human and material) to those projects and contracts.
  • Coaches, mentors, provides feedback, communicates expectations, oversees and evaluates project team members.
  • Develops and implements comprehensive hard services maintenance plans, including PPM schedules, reactive maintenance procedures, predictive maintenance strategies and capital improvement projects. Responds for their operational implementation. Defends and evaluates contractual SLA/KPI and make improvement plans to manage contract cost and results.
  • Stays aware of the latest trends in the market. Studies and evaluates new maintenance procedures, techniques, and equipment for possible implementation; attends and participates in conferences if required.
  • Ensure budgets of all projects are adhered to and accurate invoicing and collection in the prescribed time are achieved

3. Business Development

  • Establishes and maintain effective business relationships with existing customers, suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identifies, researchs and targets new business opportunities.
  • Participates on the development of solid quality proposals that meet the requirements of the customers and establish the best possible chance of winning or renewing contracts.

4. HSEQ and Compliance

  • Ensures all safety standards are adhered to, minimizing accident risk.
  • Complies to all U.A.E. Laws and associated governing bodies
  • Ensures quality is compliant to all international standards.

Required Criteria:

  • Bachelors in Engineering
  • 10 years in a senior Technical Services & 5 years in a Managerial Role
  • UAE Driving License (Required)
  • Strong MEP and Civil technical background
