Role Description The Food & Beverage Cost Control Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for monitoring and controlling food and beverage costs across outlets, including verifying purchase orders, tracking inventory levels, and reviewing daily consumption reports. The manager analyzes pricing, portion control, and wastage, prepares cost reports, and recommends corrective actions to maintain target margins. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with kitchen and bar teams, finance, and procurement; conducting regular stock audits; reviewing supplier invoices; and ensuring adherence to company policies and local regulations. The role also involves supporting budgeting and forecasting, implementing cost control procedures, and training operational staff on cost-conscious practices.
Qualifications

  • Strong food and beverage cost control and cost management skills, with experience in hospitality or a related industry.
  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in cost reporting, including the ability to interpret data and present clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience in project control related to F&B operations, such as menu engineering, promotions, or outlet openings.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and MS Excel or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a cost control or finance role within hotels, restaurants, or hospitality groups is highly beneficial.
