Food & Beverage Associate

About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Associate, you will play an important role in delivering an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. You will provide friendly and attentive service, assist guests with menu selections, serve food and beverages, handle transactions, and ensure the outlet remains clean, safe, and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist guests with menu selections and provide information about food and beverage options.
• Recommend and upsell food, beverages, side dishes, and promotional offerings.
• Take and relay orders accurately and serve food and beverages according to service standards.
• Ensure tables, service areas, equipment, and the overall outlet are clean, organized, and presentable.
• Handle guest queries and complaints professionally and support appropriate guest recovery.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Support restaurant opening and closing procedures.
• Replenish stock, condiments, and other supplies as required.
• Maintain good knowledge of available food, beverage, and other guest offerings to support recommendations and upselling.
• Follow food safety, HACCP, health and safety, hygiene, and company procedures at all times.
• Participate in required training, including applicable food safety training.
• Support other operational duties within the outlet as required.
• Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude while delivering excellent guest service.

Essential Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum 1 year of Food & Beverage experience.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic cash-handling and POS experience.
• Knowledge of food and beverage products.
• Ability to upsell and make appropriate recommendations to guests.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and continuously develop.

Desirable

• Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a 4-star hotel.
• 2 or more years of Food & Beverage experience.
• Banquet service experience or training.
• Bilingual, with Arabic preferred.
