The Food & Beverage Intern supports daily food and beverage operations while gaining hands-on experience in hotel service standards, guest interaction, and hospitality operations. This role is designed to provide practical training across restaurant, bar, banquet, and/or room service areas while contributing to high-quality guest service.
- Assist in daily food and beverage service operations under supervision
- Greet guests courteously and support service staff during meal periods
- Help set up and break down dining areas, buffets, and event spaces
- Serve food and beverages as directed, following hotel service standards
- Support cleanliness and organization of service areas, equipment, and outlets
- Assist with basic food preparation or beverage service when assigned
- Learn and follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Observe and participate in inventory, stock handling, and service procedures
- Support team members during peak service periods
- Participate in training sessions and on-the-job learning activities
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a hospitality or related program (preferred)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is an advantage but not required
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
