Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Food Quality Auditor is responsible for evaluating and verifying the branch operations and franchise outlets adhere to the company's product quality metrics, brand consistency standards and operational guidelines. This role involves conducting regular independent audits and providing auditing insights and support to Operations to maintain high levels of recipe compliance and product quality and providing continuous training to ensure standards are being maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Audits and Inspections: Conduct scheduled and unannounced quality audits and inspections of outlets to ensure compliance with company specifications. Document findings, score performance, and prepare detailed reports for management review.

• Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to Operations teams and their staff on auditing criteria, brand quality expectations, and operational procedures. Provide ongoing support and guidance to Operations to help them understand audit findings and exceed quality expectations.

• Quality Control Processes: Review, assess, and monitor quality processes across all outlets. Ensure that verification systems are in place so that all products and services meet the company's sensory, aesthetic, and portion standards before they reach customers.

• Customer Feedback and Complaint Resolution: Work with Operations to investigate root causes of customer concerns regarding product consistency, quality and implement improvements based on feedback.

• Reporting: Submit daily reports outlining all audit and spot check results, and detailing collective actions.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in food quality auditing, quality assurance, or a related field.

• Experience conducting formal audits, trend analysis, and ensuring compliance.

• Experience in food manufacturing, central kitchens, or restaurant franchise operations relevant to the company's operations.

• Internal or external Auditor Certification (e.g., ISO 9001, BRCGS, or equivalent quality standards) is highly preferred.

Skills:

• Knowledge of quality control procedures, food auditing methodologies, sensory assessment, and industry best practices.

• Strong analytical skills, impartiality, and attention to detail.

• Communication and interpersonal skills for delivering constructive audit feedback.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management or audit tracking software.

• This position requires frequent travel to various supplier and franchise locations.

• The role involves both office work and on-site inspections.
