About the RoleAs a Food Runner, you will support the front-of-house team by ensuring food is delivered to guests efficiently, accurately and to the highest service standards. You will work closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure a smooth and well-organised service throughout the venue.ResponsibilitiesDeliver food from the kitchen to the correct tables efficiently and accuratelyEnsure all dishes meet presentation and quality standards before being servedWork closely with waiters, chefs and supervisors throughout serviceMaintain a strong knowledge of the menu and dishesAssist with clearing and resetting tables when requiredSupport the service team during busy periodsEnsure tables receive the correct dishes and any required accompanimentsCommunicate guest requests and special requirements to the relevant team membersMaintain cleanliness and organization of service areasFollow all food safety, hygiene and service standardsAssist with the smooth running of the floor during peak serviceRequirementsPrevious experience as a Food Runner, Commis Waiter or similar role within a high-end hospitality environmentExperience within premium restaurants, hotels, lifestyle or luxury hospitality conceptsGood knowledge of food service and dining standardsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsFluent in English; additional languages are advantageousWell-presented, professional and guest-focusedAble to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsFlexible to work evenings, weekends and during peak periodsCurrently based in Dubai or willing to relocateWhat We OfferCompetitive salaryWork visa and medical insurance30 days paid annual leaveEmployee discounts across our venuesJoining flight ticket for international applicants, plus return tickets to home country annually or biennially depending on positionOpportunities for growth, learning and development2 days off weeklyMeals on dutyWho Are WeEstablished in 2011, Fundamental Hospitality is a UAE-born company that unifies the region's leading lifestyle concepts.
