Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Services Specialist / Nutrition Specialist to join our team in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and nutrition services, with a passion for promoting healthy eating habits and providing top-quality meals to our clients. The Food Services Specialist / Nutrition Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of our food services, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement nutritious and well-balanced menus for our clients, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or allergies.
- Oversee the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring that all food is of high quality and meets our standards.
- Monitor food inventory, order supplies, and maintain accurate records of food and supplies.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized nutrition plans for clients with specific health conditions.
- Educate clients on the importance of healthy eating habits and provide nutrition counseling as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our food services, making recommendations for improvement as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and nutrition services, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition principles and dietary guidelines.
- Experience in menu planning and food preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Fluent in English, Arabic language skills are a plus.
