Foodservice Area Sales Manager (West Region) Confidential Global FMCG Player (KSA)
A global FMCG/foodservice powerhouse is hiring a Foodservice Area Sales Manager to own and accelerate growth across the West Region (Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah).
This is a high-impact, field-led role for someone who knows how to win in Foodservice: building distribution, growing key accounts, negotiating commercially, and turning strategy into weekly execution.
You'll co-create the regional go-to-market plan and deliver FS sales targets (volume, value, gross margin) by building a strong route-to-market across distributors and/or direct sales, while expanding customer penetration and menu presence across priority SKUs.
What you'll be doing (day to day)
- Own and deliver Foodservice sales targets across the West region
- Grow and manage key FS customers: hotels, restaurants, cafs, caterers, chains, institutions
- Execute route-to-market strategy via distributors and/or direct sales
- Drive distribution, availability, and menu penetration of core and priority SKUs
- Lead commercial negotiations: pricing, contracts, rebates, promotions
- Build customer business plans aligned to regional and national FS strategy
- Ensure strong execution on new launches and perfect penetration
- Manage credit, collections, and trade spend within policy
- Stay close to the market: customer visits, competitor tracking, opportunity spotting
- Identify and onboard new FS accounts to expand footprint
Leadership & team management
- Lead, coach, and develop FS sales team members (Supervisors / Sales Executives)
- Set clear objectives and KPIs, and drive daily/weekly/monthly execution rhythm
- Run performance reviews, field coaching, and capability building
- Build sales discipline: coverage, call effectiveness, reporting quality
Reporting & commercial intelligence
- Track and report KPIs (volume, revenue, distribution, productivity)
- Analyze performance vs targets and propose practical action plans
- Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility
- Share market intelligence and competitive insights consistently
Cross-functional collaboration
You'll work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Trade Marketing to align demand planning, promotions, activations, and seasonal customer activity.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree (business or relevant field)
- 58 years of sales experience in Foodservice / FMCG
- Strong negotiation, customer management, and people leadership skills
- Solid understanding of Foodservice channel dynamics and distributor management
- English required (Arabic is a strong advantage)
- Willingness to travel extensively across the West region
