Senior Foreign Purchasing Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable international suppliers.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes for imported materials, machinery, and spare parts.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with foreign vendors.
- Coordinate with logistics and customs teams to ensure smooth import operations.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and international trade regulations.
- Analyze market trends to identify new sourcing opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance departments to align purchasing needs with project requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in foreign purchasing or international procurement (preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Tanta Resident or nearby area is preferred
