Description
We are seeking an experienced Foreman/Chargehand for our Blasting and Painting team in the Gulf region. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while managing a team of skilled workers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily blasting and painting operations.
- Ensure safety regulations and protocols are adhered to during all blasting and painting activities.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of blasting and painting work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Train and mentor team members in proper blasting and painting techniques.
- Maintain and manage inventory of blasting and painting materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team leads to ensure project timelines are met.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-7 years of experience in blasting and painting supervision.
- Strong knowledge of blasting techniques and safety standards.
- Familiarity with painting applications, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations related to blasting and painting operations.
