Description
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Gulf. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move, locate, and stack products throughout the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and report any issues to management.
- Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies while operating equipment.
Skills and Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- 1-3 years of experience in forklift operation or related field.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts including counterbalance, reach, and pallet jack.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy loads and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
