About Aleph
Aleph Technologies is a pre-series A Industrial AI company based in Singapore. We build an AI-native platform for process manufacturing industries, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and utilities. We are a small, high-conviction team at an early commercial stage, building what we believe will be the category-defining product for industrial AI analytics in Asia and beyond. We move fast, operate with high ownership, and are actively scaling our commercial pipeline toward Series A.
About the Role
This is a high-ownership, high-exposure role sitting directly under the CEO. You will work across three interconnected areas: commercial operations, customer and stakeholder engagement, and internal business operations. You will be expected to operate independently across all three from early on.
On the commercial side, you will sit in customer and partner meetings alongside the CEO, help shape pricing and growth strategy, and ensure the commercial pipeline runs smoothly operationally. On the customer side, you will project manage live engagements, coordinate between our engineering and sales teams, and be the person who keeps delivery on track and customers confident. On the internal side, you will own the financial and operational reporting, investor updates, and the ad hoc legal and HR matters that keep the company compliant and running.
What You Will Own
1. Commercial Operations and Growth
- Join and support the CEO in enterprise and C-suite client meetings, partner discussions, and commercial negotiations as an active contributor
- Support the development and execution of pricing architecture and commercial models across Aleph's customer segments
- Help build and execute growth strategy alongside the CEO: identifying new opportunities, supporting market expansion, and tracking commercial progress against targets
- Own CRM hygiene and pipeline reporting infrastructure in HubSpot; produce weekly commercial dashboards for the CEO
- Build and maintain sales process documentation, proposal templates, and commercial playbooks as the pipeline scales
- Coordinate partner relationships operationally: follow-ups, deliverables, meeting preparation, and relationship tracking
2. Stakeholder and Project Management
- Project manage all active customer engagements end to end: timelines, milestones, deliverables, and accountability across internal and external stakeholders
- Be the coordination layer between the engineering team and customers on implementation, deployment, and technical delivery matters
- Proactively identify risks, blockers, and gaps in active projects and coordinate solutions before they escalate to the CEO or CTO
- Manage customer escalations on delivery and implementation issues; problem-solve with the team and communicate resolution clearly to the customer
- Maintain full visibility across all active customer engagements and provide the CEO with a clear picture of project health at all times
- Build and refine customer engagement processes and templates as Aleph's customer base grows
3. Business Operations and Reporting
- Track and maintain financial and commercial metrics: burn rate, runway, pipeline performance, and growth indicators
- Prepare regular investor and stakeholder updates, board materials, and reporting packages for the CEO
- Support Series A preparation including data room maintenance, financial modelling, and due diligence coordination
- Own internal process documentation, operational playbooks, and company-wide project tracking standards
- Handle ad hoc legal, compliance, and HR matters as they arise: contract reviews, onboarding and offboarding coordination
- Identify operational gaps and propose solutions proactively without waiting to be asked
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone sharp, commercially curious, and comfortable operating across both strategy and execution in the same week. You need to have been exposed to these areas before, worked closely with people who own them, and be genuinely ready to take ownership here. You are someone who has already operated in a high-stakes B2B or enterprise environment, understands what good client management looks like, and can hold their own in a room with senior stakeholders without a script.
Must Have:
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of working experience in a B2B or enterprise technology environment, with meaningful exposure to commercial operations, client or stakeholder management, and cross-functional project coordination
- Direct experience working closely with founders or senior leadership at a startup, or in a role embedded within a fast-moving commercial team
- Sufficient financial literacy to track metrics, build basic models, and communicate business performance clearly to investors or leadership
- Strong project management instincts: you know how to set timelines, align stakeholders, track progress, and close things out
- Experience supporting pricing strategy, commercial modelling, or go-to-market planning
- Experience preparing investor materials, board decks, or stakeholder reporting packages
- Strong communication skills: you can write clearly, speak confidently, and adjust your style depending on whether you are talking to an engineer, a customer, or an investor
- High ownership mentality: you identify what needs to be done and do it without waiting to be told
- Comfort with ambiguity: you do not need a playbook to get started
Or Alternatively
- 2 to 3 years in implementation or strategy consulting at a reputable firm, followed by at least 2 years in a B2B tech startup in an operations, commercial, or customer-facing role
- The consulting background gives you structure and client communication discipline; the startup stint means you have already operated without the scaffolding
Strong Plus
- Background in or exposure to process manufacturing, industrial technology, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or utilities
- Familiarity with HubSpot or comparable CRM platforms
- Prior exposure to Singapore corporate compliance, employment law, or government grant applications
Who This Role Is Not For
- Someone who needs a clearly defined scope and a manager to tell them what to do each day
- Someone who has only worked in large organisations and has never had to build or fix something from scratch
- Someone who wants to stay in their lane: this role requires you to move fluidly between commercial, operational, and customer-facing work in the same week
What We Offer
- Direct access to learning from the founding team across commercial strategy, operations, and fundraising
- Meaningful equity with a standard vesting schedule, reflecting genuine skin in the game
- A front-row seat to scaling a high-growth industrial AI company from early commercial stage through Series A and beyond
- Exposure to the full scope of how a B2B SaaS startup operates: enterprise customers, investors, product, finance, legal, and people
- A small, high-calibre team with no bureaucracy, no politics, and complete clarity on what matters
- A clear growth path into a senior strategy and operations leadership role as Aleph scales
