1927 is an invitation-only members club housed withinCinemacity Starlight, Abu Dhabi's new cultural art house at Marina Mall.

Conceived as a refined Art Deco cultural salon, 1927 brings together cinema, live performance, intellectual exchange, and elevated dining for a limited circle of lifetime members.

The Opportunity

We are seeking aFounding Chef & Culinary Partnerto shape and lead the culinary identity of 1927 from its inception.

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious, Michelin-trained chef ready to step beyond traditional hotel or restaurant hierarchies and create a lasting legacy within an exclusive members institution.

The Role

The Founding Chef & Culinary Partner will:

• Define the culinary philosophy and signature expression of 1927
• Design and evolve the core menu and tasting experiences
• Build and lead the opening kitchen team
• Host curated, members-only dining and chef's table evenings
• Collaborate on seasonal and cultural tasting programs
• Represent 1927 across select media, cultural, and intellectual programming

The chef becomes part of the club's identity.

Profile We Are Seeking

• Michelin-trained background (starred experience preferred, not essential)
• Currently operating at Executive Chef or Head Chef level within luxury hospitality
• Strong aesthetic sensibility and disciplined plating language
• Cultural curiosity, intellectual depth, and refined personal presence
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build legacy, not just run service
• Comfortable working closely with ownership in a founding capacity
