Job Duties
- Under strict supervision, assists senior operators and/or performs frac-specific job roles (e.g., proppant, chemicals, blenders, QA/QC, etc... ).
- Learns basic operations to include but not limited to: performing pre/post job equipment inspections, performing and completing preventative maintenance procedures and operating support equipment (e.g., proppant handling, fluid tanks, suction manifolding, discharge manifold equipment, etc.).
- Completes requisite training and demonstrates competency as defined for current and next level. Assists in assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service.
- Assists in the clean up, repair, and preparation for the next job. Exhibits safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Participates in quality and continuous improvement processes. Reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations are preferred.
- Skills are acquired through on-the-job training and 3-6 months experience as an Operator Asst I. Requires completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
