Primary Job Title: Freelance Arabic / ENGLISH Content Writer
About The Opportunity
We are a consultancy operating in the international communications and cross-border advisory sector, delivering strategic content, localization, and digital storytelling for clients across MENA and global markets. We hire remote freelance writers based in Egypt to produce high-quality Arabic content that drives engagement, conversions, and brand trust.
Role & Responsibilities
- Produce clear, culturally relevant Arabic content across formats: blog posts, web pages, email campaigns, landing pages, and social media captions.
- Apply SEO best practices to research keywords, optimize on-page content, and improve organic visibility for target topics and queries.
- Localize English source material into natural Modern Standard Arabic and Egyptian colloquial where requiredpreserving tone, intent, and brand voice.
- Collaborate with project managers, editors, and designers to meet briefs, incorporate feedback, and deliver final copy on schedule.
- Format and publish content in CMS (WordPress) or provide ready-to-upload files with meta tags, headings, and alt-text as instructed.
- Maintain a portfolio of published work and track content performance inputs (keywords, CTAs, basic analytics) to suggest iterative improvements.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Native-level Modern Standard Arabic writing; strong command of Egyptian colloquial Arabic for localized content.
- Proven portfolio of published Arabic content (links or samples) demonstrating commercial and SEO-focused writing.
- Practical knowledge of SEO principles and keyword-driven content planning.
- Experience working with WordPress or similar CMS for content entry and basic formatting.
- Strong time-management and ability to meet deadlines in a remote freelance setup.
- Ability to adapt brand voice and follow editorial guidelines precisely.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Yoast SEO or comparable on-page SEO plugins.
- Experience producing content for B2B, consultancy, or international development clients.
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics or content performance metrics.
