This role involves preparing coordinated civil, structural, architectural, and MEP drawings from concept through to construction for a range of building projects. The designer will be responsible for producing detailed construction, shop, and as-built drawings, as well as developing both 2D and 3D BIM models. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential, and experience with Navisworks and BIM coordination will be highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural detailing, civil works, and all major building systems, ensuring compliance with construction methods, building codes, and local authority approval processes.
Deliverables
- Develop comprehensive construction, shop, and as-built drawings for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines.
- Create and manage 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines to ensure design accuracy and clash detection.
- Prepare documentation for local authority approvals and ensure all drawings meet regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate architectural, civil, and MEP requirements.
- Support the construction process by providing timely updates and revisions to drawings as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience preparing coordinated construction, shop, and as-built drawings for multidisciplinary building projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with Navisworks and BIM coordination is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, civil works, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
- Familiarity with construction methods, building codes, and local authority approval processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drawing packages simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineers, architects, and contractors.
- Availability for remote collaboration and timely project delivery.
