Role Purpose
We are seeking a Freelance Motion Graphics Designer – News Graphics to support our newsroom with high‑quality, fast‑turnaround visual content for broadcast and digital platforms. The role focuses on clear, accurate, and engaging visual storytelling aligned with editorial and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce motion graphics for news bulletins, breaking news, programs, promos, and digital platforms
- Create lower thirds, tickers, transitions, infographics, charts, maps, explainers, and visual effects
- Translate scripts and editorial content into clear and compelling visual stories
- Support live broadcasts and urgent news requirements when needed
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, visual identity, and broadcast specifications
- Collaborate with producers, journalists, editors, and creative teams
- Update and refine graphics based on editorial feedback and deadlines
- Stay up to date with news graphics trends and motion design technologies
Required Skills
- Strong experience in motion graphics for news or broadcast environments
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Working knowledge of Premiere Pro or similar editing tools
- Experience with 3D tools (Cinema 4D, Blender, Vizrt, or similar) is an advantage
- Excellent understanding of animation principles, typography, color theory, and composition
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight newsroom deadlines
