Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Kafr ash Shaykh, Egypt. The Freelance Translator will be responsible for translating written and spoken content from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning, format, and tone. The role includes researching specific terminology and subject matter to ensure translation accuracy, proofreading translations for errors, and collaborating with other team members to ensure consistency and quality in translations. Additional tasks may include attending meetings, assisting with other linguistic needs, and adhering to deadlines.
Qualifications
- Fluency in at least two languages, with an excellent command of both
- Strong background in translation, interpretation, and localization
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills
- Ability to research terminology and subject matter effectively
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Translation, Linguistics, Language Studies, or a related field
- Experience in the field of translation and interpretation is a plus
