Freight forwarder Sales (Intern)

Role Description The Freight Forwarder Internship is an on-site role based in Cairo, providing hands-on experience in daily freight forwarding operations. Interns will assist with coordinating shipments, preparing export documentation, and tracking freight transportation activities. Responsibilities include supporting customer service interactions, updating shipment records, and communicating with carriers, agents, and clients to ensure timely delivery. Interns will help resolve operational issues, contribute to process improvements, and learn industry regulations and best practices. This internship role is designed to provide practical training and mentorship in freight forwarding and logistics.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation, with the ability to learn and apply industry concepts.
• Knowledge or coursework in Forwarding and Export procedures, or willingness to develop these skills.
• Customer Service skills, including clear communication, responsiveness, and a client-focused attitude.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and basic data entry; familiarity with logistics software is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Cairo, collaborate within a team, and follow established processes and guidelines.
• Currently studying or recently graduated in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Good command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken, is beneficial.
