Job Purpose:- Responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies for freight forwarding services. The role work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure that pricing is competitive and profitable.
Key Responsibilities :-
- Develop and implement pricing strategies for freight forwarding services (mainly ocean freight).
- Negotiate rates with carriers and other service providers.
- Analyze pricing data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare and present pricing proposals to network, sales & commercial team.
- Monitor market conditions and competitors pricing.
Qualification Experience & Skills :-
- Bachelor's degree
- 1:3 years of experience in freight forwarding-Ocean freight division.
- Strong understanding of pricing principles and strategies, and shipping lines routes and services.
- V. Good English Language skills
- V. Good Presentation skills
- V. Good Communication Skills
- Able to manage clients
- V. Good in Microsoft Office Programs: Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
- V. Good Customer services skills.
- V. good Negotiation and persuasion skills
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Able to cope with high work pressure.
