Trillium is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
French Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about early childhood education and is excited to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that stimulate language development through play, songs, and activities
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, social interaction, and a love for learning
- Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to meet the diverse needs of each student
- Integrate French language learning with various subjects, promoting a holistic approach to education
- Build strong relationships with students and their families, encouraging communication and collaboration
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that promotes creativity and exploration
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, French Language, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching preschool-aged children, preferably in a bilingual setting
- Fluency in French and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with young learners and their families
- Creative and patient approach to teaching, with a passion for fostering children's development
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
