Job Description

Scope of the Work

The Front Desk Manager is responsible for overseeing the reception team, ensuring smooth front-desk operations, lobby presence Beverage service and delivering exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and staff. This role involves supervising the reception team, managing daily administrative tasks, and acting as the first point of contact for inquiries.

General

  • Ensures presence at the lobby near the main entrance to welcome and help colleagues and visitors with directions.
  • Ensure efficient beverage service across all floors by monitoring/training office boys and Baristas and maintaining drink quality while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the Reception desk on all floors is always manned.
  • Maintain all reception desks neat and tidy at all times.
  • Attend the daily handover briefing at the beginning of each shift.
  • Attend the necessary meetings/trainings as required by your direct line manager to maintain the standard of service.
  • Ensure all visitors are welcomed and registered as per the company policy.
  • Visitors will be requested to show the meeting invite before proceeding with the registration.
  • Meeting host will be called to pick up his guests from the main lobby.
  • Anyone seen on the floors must be stopped and politely asked for assistance, visitors must register at the ground floor reception then be allowed on the floors.
  • It is the sole responsibility of the Front Desk Manager and the receptionists to ensure the utmost security of the building by not allowing anyone who's not registered to access the floors.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the reception team to ensure high performance and professionalism.
  • Schedule and allocate duties to reception staff to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide performance feedback.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new reception staff
  • Perform any related duties and special projects as requested by the Management.
  • Update all guest details in the I visitor system making sure that all required information has been provided.
  • Familiarize yourself with the events/meetings.
  • Check and action any pending points from the previous day handover.
  • Ensure new joiners receive their onboarding check list

Role Specifications :

Qualifications:

Essential: Secondary Education

Desired: Bachelor's degree

Experience:

Essential: Fresh Graduate is acceptable

Desired: 1 Year experience as a receptionist.

Skills:

Good command in written and spoken English

Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office applications

Experience in welcoming visitors

Desired- Multi-lingual
