Job Description

Job Summary

As a Front-End Developer within the Marketing Team, your role is central to driving pace and rapid iteration across our digital marketing activity. You will provide the technical capability needed for the team to design, execute, and measure experiments, primarily through email campaigns and fast-turnaround landing pages, without relying on external teams. Your work ensures the team remains self-sufficient and able to meet quarterly, metric-driven OKRs with minimal operational friction.

This role plays a key part in reducing waste, avoiding queues and hand-offs, and enabling continuous learning throughout our marketing funnel.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Delivery & Execution

  • Build and maintain high-quality, responsive email templates designed for scale and cross-client compatibility.
  • Develop, test, and deploy lightweight landing pages and micro-sites that support rapid experimentation and campaign-specific conversion goals.
  • Implement tracking requirements (including analytics tags, pixels, and custom event tracking) to ensure accurate measurement of A/B tests.
  • Support the team's ambition towards CI/CD for marketing assets, enabling small, incremental and frequent releases.

2. Compliance, Quality & Risk Management

  • Maintain a strong understanding of GDPR and Data Privacy principles to ensure all digital marketing output is compliant.
  • Produce code that aligns with LIPS InfoSec standards, following secure development practices.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Lead to ensure brand, tone of voice, and accessibility standards are consistently reflected in all deployed assets.
  • Take responsibility for overall quality, using a risk-based, continuously tested approach to development.

3. Agile & Team Contribution

  • Take part in all regular team ceremonies, including stand-ups, retrospectives, and story definition sessions.
  • Actively contribute to the dedicated 30% sprint time for technical debt and process improvement, ensuring the team's technical environment remains healthy and sustainable.
  • Use the 10% personal development allocation to upskill in areas aligned to the team's mission and capability needs.
  • Work collaboratively across disciplines and support the team's drive towards autonomy and end-to-end ownership.

Technical Skills & Experience

Essential (Must Have)

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, particularly in contexts relevant to digital marketing execution.
  • Hands-on experience with email templating languages (e.g., Handlebars, Liquid, or platform-specific syntaxes) including dynamic content usage.
  • Experience working with email marketing or marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar.
  • Experience applying analytics tagging and data integrations, such as Google Analytics or Tag Management Systems.
  • Practical experience working within Agile methodologies, ideally Scrum or Kanban
  • Excellent communication skills with strong written and spoken English.

Desirable (Nice to Have)

  • Familiarity with React or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience with CRO, front-end optimisation, and A/B testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles, plus the ability to apply brand and tone-of-voice guidelines consistently.
  • Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or finance, where compliance and security requirements are rigorous.

Cultural Fit

  • We are looking for someone who naturally aligns with LIPS Healthcare's values and thrives in a high-trust, high-autonomy culture. You should be comfortable experimenting, learning, and adapting quickly, placing technical quality, compliance, and craftsmanship at the heart of your work. A collaborative mindset and the ability to contribute meaningfully to a cross-functional team are essential.

Working Hours: 11:00AM to 7:00PM.
