Key duties & responsibilities

We're looking for a Front-End Developer / 3D Specialist a creative technologist with a strong eye for design and hands-on experience building immersive, futuristic web interfaces.

In this role, you'll design and develop interactive, cinematic data experiences that push the boundaries of what's possible in the browser the kind of real-time, animated interfaces you might see in Iron Man, Minority Report, or Tron.

You'll collaborate closely with our Forward Deployed Engineers and data teams, using your skills in front-end technologies and WebGL frameworks to bring complex systems to life visually and interactively.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, animated front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Build and optimize real-time 3D visualizations and motion-based experiences using Three.js, Babylon.js, or other WebGL frameworks.
• Integrate components and renders from engines such as
• Collaborate with data engineers to transform complex information into intuitive, high-impact visual stories.
• Prototype and implement interactive elements and transitions that enhance immersion and usability.
• Apply principles of visual design, lighting, and motion to deliver interfaces that feel dynamic, fluid, and cinematic.
• Work iteratively from concept to code ensuring visual polish and technical performance.

Required Skills and Experience

• A portfolio of work demonstrating modern, futuristic UI design ideally showcasing 3D elements, animations, and WebGL-based interactions. (Required for consideration.)
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with WebGL frameworks such as Three.js, Babylon.js, or similar 3D rendering libraries.
• Hands-on experiences with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Experience working with modern front-end frameworks (React preferred).
• Solid understanding of motion principles, shaders, lighting, and interactive storytelling on the web.
• Familiarity with 3D modelling tools such as Blender or Cinema 4D.
• Strong aesthetic judgment and ability to create futuristic, cinematic, and visually polished UI concepts.
