We are looking for a Frontend Developer with strong experience in JavaScript and modern frameworks (React and/or Angular) to join our team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. EPAM is renowned for delivering cutting-edge technological solutions to transform businesses worldwide.

You will be responsible for building responsive, user-friendly interfaces, collaborating closely with designers, backend engineers and product owners to deliver high-quality web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimize user-facing features usingJavaScript,React and/orAngular
• Implement clean, modular and reusableUI componentsfollowing best practices and design guidelines
• Work with designers to translateUI/UX prototypesinto functional, pixel-accurate interfaces
• Integrate frontend components withRESTful APIsand backend services
• Ensurecross-browser,cross-device andcross-platformcompatibility
• Optimize applications forperformance,accessibility andSEO(where applicable)
• Write and maintainunit testsand/orintegration teststo ensure code quality and reliability
• Participate incode reviews, provide feedback and maintain high engineering standards
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and propose technical solutions
• Contribute tofrontend architecture, tooling and development processes (linting, build pipelines, CI/CD etc.)

Requirements

• 3+ yearsof professional experience as a Frontend Engineer/Frontend Developer
• Strong proficiency inJavaScript (ES6+)and web fundamentals:HTML5,CSS3
• Hands-on experience withReactand/orAngularin production projects
• Familiarity withstate management(e.g., Redux, NgRx, Context API or similar)
• Experience withresponsiveandadaptivedesign, including grid systems and media queries
• Understanding ofRESTful APIsand clientserver communication
• Experience withfrontend build toolsand package managers (Webpack, Vite, npm, Yarn etc.)
• Knowledge ofversion control systems, especially Git
• Basic understanding oftesting frameworks(Jest, React Testing Library, Jasmine, Karma etc.)
• Good understanding ofweb performance,security basics andaccessibility principles
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in acollaborative, agileenvironment
• Good written and spokenEnglish(for communication with distributed teams and stakeholders)
• Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Native Arabic communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience withTypeScript
• Experience working withdesign systemsand component libraries (Material UI, Ant Design, PrimeNG etc.)
• Familiarity withUX principles, basic prototyping or design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
• Experience integratinganalytics,monitoring orloggingon frontend
• Exposure toCI/CD pipelinesand DevOps practices for frontend applications
• Experience working inAgile/Scrumteams

Nature of Work and Working Hours

The usual working hours for full-time roles at EPAM in Saudi Arabia are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Working hours may vary based on client requirements and flexibility is accommodated whenever possible.
