Fuel Polishing Sales Engineer | Cairo, Egypt

Location: New Cairo| Full-Time, On-Site

We are looking for a Fuel Polishing Sales Engineer to join our growing industrial technology business.

This is a highly technical, customer-facing sales role focused on fuel filtration, fuel cleanliness, contamination control, and fuel-conditioning solutions for industrial fuel storage, engines, and powertrain applications.

The successful candidate will combine engineering knowledge, application understanding, and commercial sales capability to diagnose customer requirements, recommend the right technical solution, develop commercial proposals, and drive opportunities from initial contact through order and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of filtration products, equipment rentals, and service contracts against approved targets.
• Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline across new and existing industrial accounts.
• Prospect customers, conduct site meetings, technical presentations, and solution discussions.
• Understand fuel type, contamination issues, tank and system configuration, required flow rates, operating conditions, and installation constraints.
• Review drawings, specifications, fuel-analysis results, and site information to understand customer requirements.
• Work with NATCOM and technology partners to select and size appropriate filtration systems, cartridges, accessories, and service solutions.
• Recommend the appropriate commercial model, including product sales, equipment rental, or service contracts.
• Prepare technically accurate scopes of work, quotations, tender responses, rental offers, and service proposals.
• Support approved site surveys, demonstrations, commissioning, and customer training.
• Build strong relationships with maintenance, reliability, operations, engineering, procurement, and management stakeholders.
• Manage opportunities through technical evaluation, commercial negotiation, and procurement processes.
• Ensure a smooth handover of won opportunities to operations and service teams.
• Develop repeat business through account expansion, rental opportunities, recurring service contracts, and customer references.
• Maintain accurate CRM opportunity stages, forecasts, next actions, and market intelligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Proven experience in technical sales, application engineering, or customer-facing industrial engineering.
• Practical understanding of fluid systems, including tanks, pumps, piping, flow, pressure, and filtration fundamentals.
• Ability to understand customer applications, diagnose technical requirements, and translate them into practical commercial solutions.
• Strong technical sales, presentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Willingness to travel regularly to industrial customer sites across Egypt.
• Ability to work safely and professionally within operating industrial facilities.

• Diesel systems and fuel storage
• Fluid handling and process equipment
• Industrial maintenance
• Pumps, rotating equipment, or powertrain systems
• Power generation
• Oil & Gas
• Marine and ports
• Mining and heavy equipment
• Data centers or other fuel-intensive operations
• Fuel sampling and particle/water contamination
• Industrial tenders and procurement

Experience with Filtertechnik, Delta-Xero, or similar fuel-conditioning / filtration technologies is a strong advantage.
