Fulfillment Lead - New Cairo

Role Objectives:

The Fulfillment Lead is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of in-warehouse fulfillment operations supporting Breadfast Shops, including receiving, storage, picking, and packing. The role owns the operational execution of order preparation, translating the Sr. Fulfillment & Logistics Manager– Shops plans into daily execution through Fulfillment Supervisors, Pickers, and Packagers, ensuring orders are prepared accurately and handed over to the Logistics team ready for dispatch.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Operations:

• Own daily fulfillment planning, ensuring picking and packing capacity matches expected order volumes.
• Monitor warehouse throughput, order accuracy, and pick/pack cycle times, resolving bottlenecks in real time.
• Ensure proper inventory handling, storage organization, and stock accuracy within the fulfillment area.
• Coordinate closely with the Logistics Lead to ensure orders are dispatch-ready in line with delivery schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce fulfillment errors and costs.
• Ensure compliance with product handling, safety, and hygiene standards across the fulfillment floor.

Team Coordination

• Lead, develop, and hold accountable Fulfillment Supervisors, Pickers and Packagers.
• Set clear performance expectations and coach Supervisors on day-to-day team management.
• Plan staffing and shift coverage to match fulfillment demand across peak and off-peak periods.
• Serve as the escalation point for fulfillment issues Supervisors cannot resolve independently.
• Track and report KPIs including order accuracy, pick/pack productivity, cycle time, and inventory variance.
• Provide the Fulfillment & Logistics Senior Manager – Shops with regular performance summaries and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate fulfillment records to support workforce and capacity planning.

Required Education, Knowledge, And Skills:

• Bachelor degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, or inventory management, including at least 1–2 years in a team leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and pick/pack workflows.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and fulfillment reporting tools.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to manage through a supervisor layer.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and volume peaks.
