Position Summary:
The School ofBusinessinvites applications for a full-time faculty position inFinanceat the rank of Full Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor, depending on qualifications and experience.The successful candidate willdemonstrateexcellence in teachingFinanceand at least oneadditionaltangential Business-related sub-discipline(e.g.Accounting, Business Analytics),maintainan active research and/or creative practice profile, and engage with contemporarytechnologies and methodologies. The appointee will contribute to undergraduate education, curriculum development, student mentorship, and institutional service within a collaborative and multicultural academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Curriculum Development:
- Deliver innovative undergraduate courses inFinanceand at least oneadditionaltangential Business-related sub-discipline(e.g.Accounting, Business Analytics).
- Integrate emerging technologies such as AI-assisted design tools, and interactive platforms into the curriculum.
- Develop and update course content to reflect industry standards and accreditation requirements.
- Supervise seniorprojects and guide students.
- Maintain rigorous assessment standards.
Research &Scholarship:
- Maintain an active research agendainFinanceand/oradditionaltangential Business-related sub-discipline.
- Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences.
- Engage in interdisciplinary projects and pursue external funding where applicable.
- Contribute to strengthening theSchool'sacademic and professional profile.
Service and Institutional Engagement:
- Engage actively in departmental, school, and university committees.
- Support program assessment, accreditation documentation, and quality assurance activities.
- Participate in student recruitment, outreach initiatives, and/orcommunity engagement.
- Offer academic advising and mentorship to students.
- Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the academic community.
Qualifications
Required
- Academic Credentials:
PhD inBusiness Administration, Finance, Business Analyticsor similar.
- Teaching Experience:
Minimum of fiveyears of university-level teaching experience (for Associate & Full Professor ranks), withdemonstratedteachingexcellence.
- Professional Expertise:
Strongevidencing professional and/or research-based workinthe area ofthe professionalexpertise.
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in industry-standard software(e.g.Bloomberg).
- Research and Scholarship:
Evidence of peer-reviewed publications,and/or recognized professional practice.
- Communication Skills:
Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Cultural Competency:
Experience working effectively in multicultural academic environments.
Preferred
- Emerging Technologies:
Expertise inAI implementation.
- Accreditation Experience:
Familiarity with accreditation standards (e.g.,AACSBor equivalent).
- Industry Engagement:
Professional industry experience and active engagement.
- Capstone Supervision:
Experience supervising senior thesis or multimedia capstone projects.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Record of collaborativeand/orexternally fundedresearch.
