We are looking for new colleagues to join our fast-growing Simon-Kucher Engine team as a Full-Stack Developer (OutSystems + High-Code) to create and develop digital applications that deliver real impact for our clients.
This role goes beyond pure low-code development. While OutSystems is our core platform, strong hands-on coding experience is essential. We are looking for developers who can architect, build, and extend applications across the full stack: backend logic, integrations, and frontend user experiences, without relying solely on drag-and-drop solutions.

How You Will Create an Impact
- Translate client business processes and strategies into scalable software solutions
- Collaborate with consultants, UX designers, and technical experts to design innovative solution concepts
- Engage with clients from the start: gather requirements, identify synergies, define scope, and provide estimates
- Design, develop, and manage the full lifecycle of OutSystems-based applications
- Implement robust backend logic, integrations, and APIs (REST)
- Build and maintain clean, scalable, object-oriented code structures
- Design and optimize databases (SQL, PostgreSQL or similar)
- Develop responsive, accessible, and engaging frontends (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Translate UX/UI concepts (e.g., Figma) into functional applications
- Create personalized UI analytics dashboards and data visualizations
- Ensure performance optimization, security, and scalability across the application stack
- Contribute to testing strategies, unit tests, and continuous improvement
About You
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 35+ years of professional experience in software development
- Strong experience developing applications using the OutSystems low-code platform, including architecture and performance optimization
- Solid high-code expertise (low-code only is not sufficient)
- Strong backend development experience, including API creation and integration
- Proven frontend development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive UI design)
- Confident working with object-oriented programming principles
- Ability to build applications from scratch and maintain/improve existing systems
- Experience writing and maintaining unit tests
- Strong database knowledge (SQL; PostgreSQL is a plus)
- Bonus: experience integrating AI models, HighCharts, browser/mobile testing, and documenting workflows
- Strong ownership mindset with the courage to propose alternative solutions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
