This is a remote position.
- Implementing scalable backend features using PHP and Laravel.
- Contributing to architectural discussions and understanding trade-offs.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and performance-conscious code.
- Refactoring existing systems and reducing technical debt.
- Collaborating closely with product, design, and senior engineers.
- Optimizing database queries and improving system efficiency.
- Participating in code reviews and learning from feedback.
- Using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
- Taking ownership of features from development to deployment.
Requirements
What We Expect From You
- 3-5 years of real-world full-stack experience.
- Solid experience with PHP and Laravel in production environments.
- Strong understanding of OOP principles and clean code practices.
- Experience working with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React or Vue).
- Experience working with Git workflows and collaborative development.
- Active usage of AI development tools (coding assistants, prompt engineering, AI APIs) as part of your workflow.
- Ability to work independently on defined tasks while seeking guidance when needed.
- A strong desire to grow into architectural and ownership responsibilities.
Strongly Preferred
- Experience deploying applications to servers or cloud environments.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs.
- Interest in system design and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) beyond surface-level rituals.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments
