What you'll do:
Team noon has some of the fastest, smartest, and hardest-working people we've encountered. With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we're driving major missions forward.
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer level 2 (SDE2) to join our Noon Food engineering team, working across both backend services and customer-facing applications. You will build and scale systems that operate under high throughput, real-time constraints, and intensive workloads, while also crafting high-quality, user-centric interfaces that ensure smooth, responsive, and reliable experiences. A strong focus on engineering craftsmanship, end-to-end ownership, and professional-grade product quality is essential.
- Take ownership of features end-to-end, from backend services through to frontend release in production
- Develop clean and effective engineering solutions to our business problems
- Design fault-tolerant, highly available distributed systems and APIs that handle real-time decisioning and high concurrency
- Build and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable frontend components that perform reliably across web and mobile platforms
- Translate product requirements into bug-free working code across the stack
- Contribute to delivering seamless and intuitive user experiences with attention to performance and production quality
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to improve team efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful product features
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5 years of relevant full stack engineering experience, with meaningful contributions on building and shipping production-grade full stack applications
- Solid understanding of backend development, API design, databases, and frontend engineering principles
- Experience building modern web applications using JavaScript and React
- Good SQL and data modeling fundamentals
- Experience working with cloud platforms and scalable infrastructure or data systems
- Hands-on experience building and working with distributed systems
- Proven experience debugging and maintaining live, production systems at scale
- Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, including knowing when to automate vs. handle tasks manually
- Exposure to React Native and native mobile development.
