Role
This is a backend-first full-stack role focused on APIs, real-time systems, and AI-powered workflows. You will own backend development end to end and be responsible for deploying and running the system in production.
You will work closely with frontend and AI engineers and are expected to be comfortable moving between backend, infrastructure, and frontend integration when needed.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain APIs using FastAPI
- Work with Django when needed
- Implement WebSockets for real-time communication
- Integrate backend systems with frontend applications
- Work with Next.js at an integration level
- Integrate and maintain third-party APIs and services
- Connect AI and agent frameworks to real product workflows
- Manage deployments to dev and prod environments
- Own CI/CD pipelines and release processes
- Work with AWS infrastructure including EC2, RDS, ECS, Fargate, and related services
- Monitor, debug, and support production systems
Requirements
- Strong experience with FastAPI and Python
- Experience integrating third-party APIs
- Experience with WebSockets or real-time systems
- Solid understanding of CI/CD practices
- Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, ECS, Fargate, etc.)
- Comfortable deploying and operating production systems
- Working knowledge of Next.js and frontend-backend integration
- Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar
- Practical engineering mindset and strong ownership
Nice to Have
- Django experience
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, or similar
- Experience with BI or analytics tools
- Experience with RAG or vector databases
- Experience building AI-enabled products
