Technical Requirements

• Deep knowledge and experience of JavaScript/React/Vue.js.
• Deep knowledge and experience of Java with Spring / Camel & Node.js.
• Knowledge of design and implement automated tests using Cucumber, JUnit.
• Knowledge and experience with AWS services: Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, S3.
• Knowledge and experience with JMS, DynamoDB, Kafka, and Amazon MQ for event-driven architectures.
• Splunk and SignalFx, including monitoring and alerting.
• CI/CD (Jenkins) and GitHub workflows (branching, PR reviews, code quality, collaboration).

Non-Technical Requirements

• Stakeholder Management and Communication.
• Independence and ability to work as stand-alone engineer.

Candidate responsibilities

• Experience leading teams in a highly collaborative environment, 8+ years of hands-on industry software development experience.
• Lead design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable full-stack solutions in the retail and consumer order management domain, owning capabilities end-to-end.
• Build modern highly scalable applications using JavaScript/React/Vue.js on the frontend and Java with Spring / Camel & Node.js related frameworks on the backend.
• Design and implement automated tests using Cucumber, JUnit, and related testing frameworks to ensure high quality and reliability.
• Implement cloud-native services on AWS, leveraging managed services for scalability, resilience, and performance.
• Experience with AWS products including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, S3.
• Design data and integration solutions using JMS, DynamoDB, Kafka, and Amazon MQ for event-driven architectures.
• Implement strong observability and operational readiness using Splunk and SignalFx, including monitoring and alerting.
• Own build, release, and production support for team-owned capabilities, ensuring stability, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate an AI-first mindset, actively leveraging AI-powered developer tools (e.g., Cursor) to accelerate development and learning
• Mentor engineers, drive engineering best practices, and continuously explore emerging technologies to foster innovation.
• Own CI/CD (Jenkins) and engineering hygiene: GitHub workflows (branching, PR reviews, code quality, collaboration) and release readiness.
