The Role: Senior Fullstack Developer

We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with strong experience in both React.js and Python/Django to help evolve WasteHero's core SaaS platform.

You'll work on the full product lifecycle from architecture and design to deployment and maintenance shaping features that power sustainable urban operations at scale.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll collaborate across teams to build performant, scalable, and secure applications that deliver measurable results.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using React.js, Python, and Django/FastAPI.

Develop APIs (REST and GraphQL) and ensure seamless integration between systems.

Improve and scale the platform as new cities and partners onboard.

Take ownership of cloud environments, deployments, and regular production updates.

Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, ensuring reliability and performance.

Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to launch new features.

Participate in architecture reviews, CI/CD setup, and continuous refactoring.

Cover current code with tests and help improve code quality through peer review.

You Bring

5+ years of professional experience building large-scale applications.

Strong proficiency with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Django.

Experience with AWS, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and modern CI/CD workflows.

Understanding of ECMA, eslint, Material UI, and frontend optimization.

Hands-on experience maintaining production environments and cloud deployments.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across distributed teams.

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical background.
