Role: Full Stack Software Developer (PHP / Laravel)
Type: Contract On-site
Location: Cairo, Egypt
We're looking for a Full Stack Software Developer with strong PHP/Laravel experience to help us build and scale BznsBuilder's core platform. You'll work across the stack to design, implement, and maintain performant, secure, and scalable web applications that power our business planning and forecasting tools.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP and Laravel.
- Build and optimize responsive frontend experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern JS framework (Vue.js or React).
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend components.
- Work with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL), including schema design and query optimization.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and scalability issues across the stack.
- Collaborate with product, design, and tech teams to ship features that add real value for entrepreneurs.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in PHP and hands-on experience with the Laravel framework.
- Solid frontend skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, plus experience with Vue.js or React.
- Experience working with MySQL or PostgreSQL (database design, queries, performance tuning).
- Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and RESTful API integration.
- Proven experience in debugging, testing, and optimizing code for performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with agile methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Slack) is a plus.
- Experience working on SaaS products or in startup environments is a strong plus.
