The Role
We are seeking aFull-Stack Web Developerwith strong financial data experience to help architect and build a complete ETF and financial media platform.
This is not a typical WordPress developer role. You will:
- Build real financial market data tools
- Design scalable backend systems
- Integrate financial APIs and ETF datasets
- Develop modern front-end interfaces
- Work closely with editorial, management, and design
- Help integrate AI tools into workflows
You'll be instrumental in shaping the technical foundation of Nukoud.
Core Responsibilities
1. Backend & Data Engineering
- Architect and maintain scalable backend systems
- Design robust PostgreSQL schemas for:
- ETF data
- Holdings
- Historical performance
- Market data time-series
- Editorial metadata
- Build APIs (REST / GraphQL) using Python
- Integrate financial market data feeds (ETF data, exchange data, NAV, etc.)
- Ensure high performance and low latency where appropriate
- Implement caching strategies (Redis preferred)
2. Frontend Development
- Build dynamic, interactive UI components usingReact
- Develop financial data visualization tools
- Create ETF comparison tools, screeners, and analytics dashboards
- Work with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI
- Ensure responsive design and high performance
- Optimize for SEO and structured financial data
3. CMS & Content Infrastructure
- Implement and extendStrapi(or similar headless CMS)
- Build structured editorial workflows
- Enable data-driven article pages
- Create reusable financial data modules for editorial integration
- Build login systems and gated content features
4. Analytics, Tracking & Monetization
- Integrate:
- Google Analytics
- Google Ad Manager
- Ad tracking systems
- Custom event tracking
- Build subscription / login systems
- Optimize user funnel tracking
- Support advertising and sponsorship integrations
5. AI & Automation
- Work fluently with AI coding tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.)
- Help implement:
- AI-powered article drafting
- Data summarization tools
- Automated ETF factsheet generation
- Build structured prompt workflows tied to data systems
6. Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Editorial team
- Management
- Designers
- Financial market specialists
- Translate business goals into technical execution
- Help define product roadmap and technical architecture
Required Skills & Experience
Technical
- Strong experience withPython (backend development)
- AdvancedPostgreSQLdesign and optimization
- Experience with financial market data structures
- React (modern hooks-based architecture)
- Experience withStrapior other headless CMS
- REST API design
- Authentication & authorization systems
- Deployment experience (AWS preferred)
- Experience with Redis or caching layers
- Git-based workflows
