Key Responsibilities
Client Consultation:
Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their hair styling preferences and needs.
Provide expert advice on suitable styles, colors, and treatments based on individual client characteristics.
Hair Styling
Perform a variety of hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, and chemical treatments, with a high level of precision and creativity.
Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling to offer cutting-edge services to clients.
Team Collaboration
Collaborate with other stylists, colorists, and salon staff to create a positive and cohesive team environment.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior stylists, fostering their growth and skill development.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service, effective communication, and personalized attention.
Ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Product Knowledge
Stay informed about the latest hair care products and technologies.
Recommend and sell retail hair care products to clients for at-home maintenance.
Salon Maintenance
Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the salon.
Assist in maintaining salon equipment and tools in good working condition.
Continued Education
Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to stay current with industry trends and further develop skills.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Senior Hair Stylist in a reputable salon.
State cosmetology or hairstylist license.
Extensive knowledge and proficiency in hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
